The lovely ladies of currentVintage request your help as they size all their new (old) duds for the 2016 season! Swing by the shop to try on clothes, sip on their new wine selection and sample their delicious cheeses. Prizes will go to the lucky women or gentlemen who try on the most clothes.
2. ACK Clean Team

8 A.M. @ Surfside Parking Lot
The Nantucket Clean Team is back in action and beautifying our island one section at a time. This week, the crew will be meeting at the Surfside Beach parking lot before dispersing out to do their part in keeping Nantucket clean. Join in the fun!
3. Daring Daughters of Nantucket
Saturday, May 7
10 A.M. – 12 P.M. @ The Maria Mitchell Science Center
Join the curator of the Mitchell House for a walking tour centered around the lives of Maria Mitchell and other significant women from Nantucket’s history. Learn why whaling, Quakerism, and the isolation of an island afforded these women opportunities that were denied women in other parts of the country at the time. Registration is required and can be made by calling 508-228-2896.
4. Kentucky Derby

We’re off to the races! Head to your favorite Nantucket bar or hunker down at home with a mint julep for the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby. (Our money’s on Mor Spirit.)
5. A Night with the S.T.A.R.S.
Saturday, May 7
7 – 10 P.M. @ The Chicken Box
Support the S.T.A.R. program at their 10th annual ‘A Night with the S.T.A.R.S.’ event. Featuring live music from The Savage Brothers, a silent auction, delicious food, raffles and an Oscar-worthy photo booth, you’ll feel like a Hollywood star the second you step foot inside.
6. Mother’s Day Brunch

10. CRU Opening Party
