1. Opening Night: TWN’s A Christmas Story

Friday, November 18
7 P.M. @ Nantucket High School

The talented students of Nantucket High School’s own Drama Club will be performing Thornton Wilder’s comedy “The Matchmaker,” the play that was eventually adapted for film as the one-and-only “Hello, Dolly!” Tickets are only $12/adults, $10/students and seniors and you only have two more chances to catch this production (closing Sunday at 2 P.M.)

Saturday, November 19
10 A.M. – 3 P.M. @ Bartlett’s Farm

It’s back again. The BIG Nantucket yard sale benefitting the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum… and this year it is being held in Bartlett’s Garden Center. From furniture to artwork, clothing to accessories, they’ll have it all. And if you’re really chomping at the bit, arrive at 9 A.M. for the $10 early bird entry. The sale will also be running Sunday from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. but don’t wait, these items are priced to sell!

Saturday, November 19
1 P.M. @ Dharma Yoga

All you have to do is arrive, and relax. This 2-hour restorative workshop will use silk hammocks as a prop to support several restorative yoga poses sure to release that tension and stress you’ve been holding. 5. Foggy Roots Live
Saturday, November 19
9:30 – 11:30 P.M. @ Atlas

Who’s ready for some reggae? Foggy Roots, Nantucket’s own reggae band, will be rocking Atlas for an evening of good jams and good drinks. So before you gear up for all your Thanksgiving holiday prep next week, why not let loose and dance it out?

Who said Sundays were for sitting around? Start your morning off on the right foot and join Peter Brace for a 2.5 hour guided wilderness hike around Smith’s Point.
