2. All About Scallops
Saturday, November 7 || 10 – 11 A.M. || Bartlett’s Farm
Are you a novice in the world of scallops? An old pro looking for a new recipe? Nantucket Fresh Catch’s Joan Skar will be at Bartlett’s Farm for a morning of scallops fit for newbies and pros alike! This cooking demo is not to be missed and is free to the public.
3. Nantucket New School Harvest Bash
Saturday, November 7 || 6 P.M. || Nantucket Yacht Club
We may not be in Tanzania, but Saturday night will be a “Night on the Serengeti” right here on island for the Nantucket New School’s annual fundraising bash! This evening will be one for the books with cocktails, dinner prepared by Chef Michael LaScola, silent and live auctions, and music performed by 3rd Bay Project.
4. Run for Robin 5K
Sunday, November 8 || 8:30 A.M. || VFW Post 8608
The Robin Harvey Foundation, established in honor of beloved community member Robin Harvey, will hold the Run for Robin 5K this weekend. 5. Fantasia 75th Anniversary Screening
Sunday, November 8 || 2 P.M. || Dreamland Theater
Featuring the work of the Disney studio’s artists at their peak, coupled with conductor Leopold Stokowski’s musical arrangements, Fantasia is an extravagant and exotic work of animated art. This screening is sure to bring together the 8-year-olds who have never been introduced to this magical film, 28-year-olds with fond memories of watching in their youth, and 48-year-olds who remember enjoying this masterpiece with their own children years ago! 6. Nantucket Community Dinner
Tuesday, November 10 || 6 P.M. || American Legion, 21 Washington Street
There are few better opportunities to gather as an island community than the Nantucket Community Dinners. Held the second Tuesday of every month, why not take an evening to come together and celebrate the wonderful place we call home and the special people we call neighbors? 7. Wednesday Wing Night

8. Food for Thought: “‘Sconset Cottages” with Michael May
Thursday, November 12 || 12- 1 P.M. || Nantucket Whaling Museum
Join Nantucket Preservation Trust Executive Director Michael May and explore some of Sconset’s most remarkable cottages. A summer turned year-round ‘Sconset resident currently living in a 1750 cottage, May is working on a book about ‘Sconset cottages to be released in the next year and looks forward to sharing his knowledge as part of NHA’s Food for Thought lunch and lecture series.
9. Wine Club Gathering
Thursday, November 12 || 5 – 7 P.M. || Épernay Wine & Spirites

10. Ladies Night

Benefitting the Marla Ceely Lamb Fund, Bartlett’s Farm will again play host to Ladies Night: an evening of shopping, festive drinks and treats, a Chinese auction and more! What better way to kick off the holiday season than by supporting local vendors and celebrating with friends?
