Stop by Annye’s Whole Foods to wish Annye a happy birthday and shop for a good cause! To celebrate her birthday and show support for the hardworking hospital staff, 10% of proceeds at the store on Friday will go towards Nantucket Cottage Hospital’s fundraising campaign for the new hospital.
2. Rosé All Day

You read that right: currentVintage will actually be pouring rosé all day on Friday. Between 12 and 4, stop by to try a different rosé each hour. From 4 to 7, rosés will be perfectly paired with cheese and charcuterie. Stop by ready to say, “rosé si’l vous plait!”
3. Opening Night: The Full Monty

What happens when six men lose their jobs as steelworkers? They form their own strip-tease act, of course. The Theatre Workshop of Nantucket presents The Full Monty, based on the film of the same name. 4. Hail! Cassius Neptune Performs

Celebrate the start of the weekend with a night of music at Atlas that you do not want to miss. “Hail! Cassius Neptune” is a trio band that will play groovy originals along with fun interpretations of pop hits, meaning not a soul will be excluded from the dance floor.
5. Museum After Dark

Celebrate Nantucket’s next generation of leaders at the 2nd annual Museum After Dark party, benefiting the Nantucket Historical Association. 6. ShePartakes Luncheon

As a way to highlight and support women in the food, wine, hospitality and service industries, non-profit organization SheGives is on Nantucket to celebrate Straight Wharf Restaurant’s 40th anniversary. 9. Olympia Dukakis’ “Rose” Performance

Golden Globe and Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis will grace the White Heron Theatre stage as she brings Broadway to Nantucket in her one-woman show, “Rose.” This play-length monologue follows the life of 80-year old Rose, who acts as the messenger for explaining post-World War II Jewish life. 10. An Evening with David Sedaris

America’s pre-eminent humorist, David Sedaris, will tune in to Nantucket for his second Nantucket Summer Series!
