1. Art Auction “Starry Night”

2. The Harvey Foundation Open Golf Tournament

8:00 am @ Miacomet Golf Club

Play a round of golf “fore” charity during the Harvey Foundation Open Golf Tournament! All proceeds will go to the Foundation, supporting efforts in the community including great scholarship offerings for kids. 3. Nantucket LGTBQIA+ Community and Allies’ Pride Parade
Saturday, June 16th
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm @ Children’s Beach

Embrace Pride month and bring attention to the LGBTQIA+ community by attending the first annual Nantucket Pride Rally and March! This celebration of Pride will include speeches, activities, and a community march, with no hate allowed. Wear your rainbow gear, have fun, get creative and inspire others. 4. Small Friends 2nd Annual 5K Fun Run
Sunday, June 17th
8:00 am @ Small Friends, 21 Nobadeer Farm Road

On your mark, get set, run! Small Friends is hosting its 2nd annual 5k Fun Run, raising money for the Small Friends organization and supporting on-island families and children in need. 5. NBF Closing Event – Malcolm Mitchell: Reading to Win with Robert Cocuzzo
Sunday, June 17th
6:00 pm @ The Whaling Museum

The 2018 Nantucket Book Festival will host award-winning children’s book author Malcolm Mitchell in conversation with N Magazine editor Robert Cocuzzo. Mitchell, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots and founder of the Share the Magic Foundation for youth literacy, will share his inspiration and passion for writing and the mission of the Foundation. 6. Nantucket blACKbook + Island Kitchen Summer Solstice Block Party

7. Nantucket Film Festival: Live Taping of NPR’s Ask Me Another

Join host Ophira Eisenberg, house musician Julian Velard, “puzzle guru” Cecil Baldwin and special guest Peter Yarrow, of American Folk group Peter, Paul and Mary, for an hour of games, comedy, music and trivia during a live taping of NPR’s Ask Me Another. 8. Shipwreck Stories & Sea Shanties

9. Nantucket Music Center Faculty Salon
Thursday, June 21
6:00 pm @ 56 Centre Street Parlor

Featuring a program of groundbreaking composers, three innovative members of the Nantucket Music Center faculty will break some new ground together. Mollie Glazer, cello; Jennifer Maxwell, piano; and Jordan Delphos, violin, will inaugurate the new NMC Faculty Salon concert series with a program featuring composers Charlie Chaplin, Astor Piazzolla, and George Gershwin. This concert will begin a monthly series of concerts showcasing the talented, creative, and versatile NMC faculty at Nantucket Music Center. 10. Cinematic Exposure Opening Reception

Lights, camera, action! The Hostetler Gallery is kicking the season off with flash this Nantucket Film Festival as they present “Cinematic Exposure,” a show featuring long exposures from feature films we all know and love.
