8:30 P.M. Party @ Nantucket Culinary Center

Celebrate Nantucket Preservation Month with a free screening of “Raise the Roof,” a film about the re-creation of a beautifully intricate Polish synagogue’s roof. After the show, the Nantucket Culinary Center will host a cocktail party with the film’s producer and director, complete with passed hors d’oeuvres and delicious beer and wine. Need some inspiration? Join over 20 artists for this six-day painting extravaganza in designated painting areas stretching from Washing Pond to Great Point. All artists have the opportunity to hang up to 4 pieces of artwork, completed or not, in the Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery. All artists are welcome, so come get your creative juices flowing!
