2. Yoga in the Gallery

Local yoga instructor and cancer survivor Caitlin Marcoux will host a charity yoga class at the Samuel Owen Gallery to raise money for Swim Across America’s Team PASCON. 100% of the donations will go to the new Nantucket Cottage Hospital cancer services, and with post-practice refreshments provided by Lemon Press, supporting a great cause has never been such an easy decision. 4. Page to Stage: Dr. Jim O’Connell

The last lecture of the Page to Stage series introduces Dr. Jim O’Connell. O’Connell, who has pioneered many innovations including the nation’s first medical respite program and the first electronic medical record for a health care for the homeless program, will be in conversation with N Magazine’s own Robert Cocuzzo. 5. The Revivalists

6. Maria Mitchell 200th Birthday Celebration

The monumental 200th Birthday of America’s first female astronomer definitely deserves a big celebration! 7. Film for Thought: Eating Animals

Join The Dreamland as they show Eating Animals, sure to be one of the most important documentaries of our time. Narrator Natalie Portman guides the viewer through the history of food production in the United States and how farming has developed from sustainable, local farms to giant monsters exploiting animals and the Earth alike. 8. Paws for the Cause: Year of the Dog

9. NHA Design Luncheon

NHA’s largest fundraiser is back to celebrate the island’s influences across American design. Moderated by editor-in-chief of House Beautiful Sophie Donelson along with keynote speaker David Kleinberg of David Kleinberg Design Associates, the Design Luncheon features a champagne reception, lunch and good conversation! 10. Annual Spriggs Lecture

The Museum of African American History’s annual Spriggs Lecture welcomes author, historian, and speaker Skip Finley, as he discusses black whaling captains and his new book, “Whaling Captains of Color – America’s First Meritocracy”.
