Madaket Road is ready for a fall freshen-up, so join the ACK Clean team as they tackle this stretch of roadway. All ages are welcome and all that is needed is a positive attitude and a readiness to get your hands a little dirty for an hour. Let’s keep Nantucket clean!
3. Nantucket Island Fair

4. Maria Mitchell & the Daring Daughters of Nantucket

Spend a Saturday morning strolling the streets and learning about the famous (and infamous) women of Nantucket’s history. From the whaling industry to Quakerism, there were many factors that contributed to the independence of Nantucket women before the same opportunities were afforded to their mainland counterparts. 5. Yoga Workshop: Wisdom Through the Ages

10. Faraway Islands: Lightship Basket Making on Nantucket & Japan

There’s less than a month left to view the Lightship Basket Museum’s 2016 exhibition exploring the popularity of Nantucket basket making among Japanese craftswomen and the history of the interactions between the two islands.
