2. Champagne Campaign Tasting

3 – 5 P.M. @ Épernay Wine & Spirits

Épernay is popping off this Friday with the secrets behind what makes Champagne so deliciously different from other sparkling wines. Sip and savor flutes of this world-class grape varietal from the northernmost wine region of France.




3. Cool Yule Holiday Party

5:30 – 7:30 P.M. @ Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery

Master the art of gift-giving this holiday season with a piece from the Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery. Featuring locally-crafted items by AAN’s 240 member artists, the Cool Yule Holiday Party serves as a festive follow-up to the Holiday Small Works Show.




4. Stroll Market

9 A.M. – 3 P.M. @ Holly’s Happy Place at Island Kitchen

Deck the halls of Holly’s Happy Place at the ultimate Stroll Market complete with music, shopping, sweet treats and sleigh rides. With libations by Whispering Angels, glow-outs by Beauty Mystic, and music by DJ LayZBoy, Braun Dapper, and Miss Fairchild, Nantucket blACKbook has something for everyone this holiday season.




5. Santa Arrives on Straight Wharf
Saturday, December 2
12 P.M. @ Straight Wharf

Kids and adults alike will feel a rush of excitement in seeing Saint Nick arrive on the shores of Straight Wharf Saturday. For a little something extra, meet up with the Town Crier at 11:45 A.M. on Main Street and join the processional to Straight Wharf to greet the big man himself.





6. St. Paul’s Christmas Market
Saturday, December 2
9:30 A.M. – 3 P.M. @ St. Paul’s Church

Find sanctuary from the cold and cozy up at St. Paul’s Christmas Market, located at 20 Fair Street. Featuring a buffet lunch, holiday gifts, and tours of the beautifully historic stained glass windows, this cherished community event is welcome to all.






7. Wreath Making Class

10 – 11:30 A.M. + 12 – 1:30 P.M. @ Bartlett’s Farm

8. Screening: The Oyster Farmers
Saturday, December 2
6 – 9 P.M. @ The Starlight

Discover the raw beauty of oysters in a Saturday night showing of The Oyster Farmers presented by the Nantucket Land Council and the Nantucket Shellfish Association, followed by a local oyster tasting. Set in the historical epicenter of wild oysters, this feature length documentary highlights issues within coastal culture, environmental ethos, and sustainability through an effort to restore the heritage of this delicacy.



9. Foggy Roots
Saturday, December 2
10 P.M. @ Atlas

Rock around the Christmas tree all night with the Foggy Roots, performing this Saturday at Atlas. With special holiday-inspired cocktails, this mid-island hot spot is the perfect hub to drink and dine outside of town with celebrating the Stroll spirit!





10. Film for Thought: Frank Serpico

6:30 P.M. @ The Dreamland
