3. Jazz Before Sunset
Saturday, June 30
5:00 pm @ African Meeting House

The historic African Meeting House opens their stage for another season of Jazz Before Sunset. On the last Saturday of every month until October, visitors will enjoy a delightful evening of jazz performances with popular local musicians, Nigel Goss, Ecliff Graves, Aidan Sherry, and Jason Sullivan. 4. Where’s Waldo on Nantucket

6. Elin Hilderbrand Book Signing

7. Independence Day on Main Street

No town celebrates Independence Day quite like Nantucket! Start your day at the 16th annual reading of the Declaration of Independence in the Unitarian Church before heading to Main Street for the Dunk Tank, Watermelon Eating Contest, Face Painting, Pie Eating Contest, and more. 8. Page to Stage Series: Chris Matthews

Join author and journalist Chris Matthews in conversation with David Gregory on the main stage of Dreamland Theater. Matthews is best known as the host of MSNBC’s Hardball and has also authored many best-selling books including “Tip and The Gipper: When Politics Worked” and “Hardball: How Politics is Played.” For this special evening, Matthews will be discussing a wide range of topics within the current political landscape as well as his recent book “Bobby Kennedy: A Raging Spirit.” For more information, click here
