1. Boston Conservatory Stars of Tomorrow
Friday, October 9 || 7 P.M. || The Dreamland

You’ll be seeing stars as the Boston Conservatory opera students perform a series of popular scenes and arias right here on Nantucket! Presented in partnership with the Nantucket Arts Council and the Nantucket Arts Festival, tickets include entrance to a dessert reception immediately following the show. Get your tickets here!

Saturday, October 10 || 9:15 A.M.

Nantucket is home to numerous historic pipe organs, all six of which will be on full display during the weekend’s 24th annual Pipe Organ Crawl! Take a stroll through downtown and stop in to head these stunning instruments played to the best of their ability by local and visiting master organists. Presented by the Nantucket Community Music Center, suggested donations of $15 for the full crawl and $5 for a single performance will go to supporting this important cultural organization. The crawl will begin at St. Mary’s Church at 3 Federal Street.

Saturday, October 10 || 11 A.M. – 4 P.M.

One of the oldest, continuously operated farms on the entire island, the Nantucket Conservation’s Milestone Bog will play host to Nantucket’s 13th annual Cranberry Festival. Watch berries being harvested, enjoy live music, cranberry-inspired food from local restaurants, hayrides, a petting zoo and more! Click here for more information.

Professional and amateur filmmakers alike will be screening their short films – all filmed on or inspired by Nantucket – as part of the Nantucket Shorts Festival. 9. Food for Thought: Leah Cabral

Join Town Assistant Biologist Leah Cabral and the Nantucket Historical Association for their weekly Food for Thought lunch and lecture. Cabral will teach attendees about the town’s Shell Recycling Program… So we suggest you pack a lunch of oysters and clams!
