5. An Evening with Henry David Thoreau

Travel back in time with Henry David Thoreau as he returns to Nantucket to deliver a transcendental lecture for the first time since 1854. Performed by longtime Thoreau historian Richard Smith, “What Shall It Profit” highlights life in the 19th century in a scathing critique, followed by a lively discussion with Smith as he shares stories of life as the iconic writer of Walden Pond.
