1. Nantucket Bay Scallop Dinner

6:30 – 8:30 P.M. @ Nantucket Culinary Center
Sip and savor the flavors of the season during this kitchen party celebrating all things Nantucket with chef demos, wine pairing and tasty scallop delights. Watch as NCC chefs create seasonal and fresh hors d’oeuvres and appetizers with everyone’s favorite sea delicacy, and socialize with friends in the beautiful Nantucket Culinary Center. 2. Shadowring Screening
Friday, November 4
7 P.M. @ The Atheneum
Shadowring tells the story of the Council on Foreign Relations, commonly described as the hidden government of the United States, using expert witnesses and source documents to unlock the secrets and the incredible power that the CFR has over our everyday lives. Admission is free and open to the public.
3. Sleep Deprivation SOS
Saturday, November 5
10 – 11 A.M. @ Bartlett’s Farm
Join Dr. Michelle Starr for a morning discussion about the long term dangers of sleep deprivation, the hidden health issues behind sleep disorders, and how to set yourself up for a better night’s sleep. And remember, Daylight Savings Time shifts on Sunday, November 6th, so this lecture is sure to set you up for an easy transition! Admission is free and coffee, tea, and baked goodies will be served.
4. Nantucket New School Harvest Bash

6 P.M. @ Nantucket Yacht Club
Keep an eye on your diamonds because there’s a jewel heist in progress! The Nantucket New School’s Great Jewel Heist Harvest Bash, that is. This annual fundraising event is a not-to-be-missed, one-of-a-kind evening of dinner, drinks, dancing and auction, and proceeds benefit our own Nantucket New School.
5. Learn to Curl Weekend
Saturday, November 5 – Sunday, November 6
@ Nantucket Ice Rink
Try out the sport that has taken Nantucket by storm! Join the Nantucket Curling Club for a weekend of lessons and fun on-and-off the ice. 6. 2nd Annual Run for Robin 5K
Sunday, November 6
10 A.M. @ Nantucket VFW
There are few communities quite like Nantucket, and the annual Run for Robin 5K is no exception to the amount of love and support on our island. Honoring and celebrating the life of Robin Harvey, the Run (or walk!) for Robin raises funds for the Harvey Foundation, which works to empower and assist the pathfinders of education, athletics and community service right here on Nantucket. 7. Community (Off The Mat) Yoga Celebration

3 – 6 P.M. @ Cisco Brewery
Join The Yoga Room and Supta Yoga Nantucket for a community celebration off the mat. The perfect opportunity to gather with friends and enjoy the beauty of the off-season, feel free to bring snacks, apps or whatever your heart desires to throw on the tables under the tent.

7 A.M. – 8 P.M. @ Nantucket High School
The day has arrived, it’s time to cast your vote! If you haven’t already done early voting, make your way to Nantucket High School between the hours of 7 A.M. and 8 P.M. to make your voice heard. 9. Community Dinner
Tuesday, November 8
6 – 8 P.M. @ American Legion
Nantucket Community Dinners are an opportunity for locals to gather together to share a beautiful meal amongst friends. This month, in honor of Thanksgiving, we gather to give thanks for our community and for each other. Food is first come, first served and free to the public.
