2. Live Comedy with Brian Glowacki

3. Sustainable Nantucket Farmers & Artisans Market

5. Sam Sylvia Pro-Am Golf Tournament

Don’t miss the 24th annual Sam Sylvia Pro-Am Golf Tournament event hosted by the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club starting this Sunday evening at 5 p.m. The weekend will begin with a cocktail party that consists of live and silent auctions, followed by the tournament Monday morning at Sankaty Head Golf Club. 6. An Evening with Stephen Kinzer

6 P.M. @ The Whaling Museum
Join the Nantucket Historical Association for a special lecture and book signing with Stephen Kinzer, author of The True Flag: Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and the Birth of American Empire,” this Monday night at the Whaling Museum. Kinzer has written several books, served as the New York Times’ bureau chief in Turkey, Germany and Nicargua, and writes a column on world affairs for The Boston Globe. 7. Plein Air Festival

Hosted by the Artists Association of Nantucket, the 6th annual outdoor painting festival is open to all artists and includes a paint-out at Brant Point Lighthouse and Quick Paint along South Beach where you can see your works hanging for sale even before your paint dries.
