Swing by the Philip Bloom Gallery as they present “Future Perfect,” a group exhibition expressing what will have happened in the future, featuring the works of Halsey Hathaway, Alexander Oleksyn and Rebecca Ward. 6. Museum After Dark
Saturday, August 1 || 8 P.M. – midnight || The Whaling Museum
It might not be “Night At The Museum” with live exhibits, but it’s sure to be a blast! The Nantucket Historical Association will host its first “Museum After Dark” this weekend, a brand-new event targeting the next generation of NHA and museum supporters. Sunday, August 2 || 6 – 9:30 P.M. || The Chicken Box
The Boston Bruins Foundation, a non-profit that assists charitable organizations to enhance the lives of children throughout New England, will host a benefit show right here on Nantucket! The event will be headlined by the band Entrain and guests will have the opportunity to mingle with Bruins alumni for a fun night of auctions and raffles. All proceeds from the event will benefit Nantucket STAR and the Boston Bruins Foundation!

Tuesday, August 4 || 8 P.M. || Unitarian Church
The Nantucket Arts Council, Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, and the White Heron Theater Company bring “The Moth Mainstage: True Stories Told Live” back to the island, an incredible night of storytelling by luminaries in the arts and sciences, newsmakers, and everyday heroes. The theme? “Fish out of Water.” Storytellers will include D.W. Moffett and Danusia Trevino.

To close out Collective Shenanigan’s “Island Affect” emerging artists show, comprised of a variety of artwork by Nantucket natives and wash-a-shores, head over to Pumpkin Pond Farm for an evening of live music by Coq au Vin, DJ Discoface and Audio Architechs. 10. Donavon Frankenreiter Show
Thursday, August 6 || The Chicken Box
Donovan Frankenreiter, a surfer and musician whose music exudes relaxed, positive vibes, will be take the stage at the Box again this summer!
