Dive into the past with archivist Gioia Dimock as she unveils how the whaling industry truly began and flourished through her new book, “Images of America: Whaling in Massachusetts.” Through historic prints, photographs and documents, Dimock explores the industry that took over the coastal region of Massachusetts during the 18th and 19th centuries.
