1. Race for Open Space
Saturday, July 14
9:00 am @ Nantucket Cranberry Bogs, 220 Milestone Road

Help protect the Island’s invaluable open spaces, and get a workout in too! The annual Race for Open Space 5K run (or 2-mile walk) benefits the Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s Land Fund and will take place at the Foundation’s Milestone Cranberry Bog. 2. Book Signing with Wendy Francis
Saturday, July 14
10:30 am – 12:00 pm @ Mitchell’s Book Corner

Get those pens ready! Wendy Francis, author of “The Summer of Good Intentions” and “Three Good Things,” will be signing her new book “The Summer Sail” at Mitchell’s Book Corner. 3. Basket & Bubbly Champagne Brunch & Silent Auction

4. Footloose Opening Night Benefit

Beaumont, TX meets ACK! The Theater Workshop of Nantucket is bringing another amazing performance this summer. This time, it’s the iconic Broadway musical Footloose. The opening night fundraiser will feature good ole fashioned Texas line dancing, BBQ, signature libations, and an exclusive New York Theatre auction. 7. Film for Thought: Mountain

8. Nantucket Preservation Trust Summer Lecture & Luncheon: Gil Schafer “Creating Places to Call Home”

9. Page-to-Stage Series: Meredith Goldstein in Conversation with Rob Cocuzzo

Love is in the air as Meredith Goldstein arrives for the Page to Stage Series at the Dreamland Theater. As an advice columnist and entertainment reporter for The Boston Globe, Goldstein has spent years answering the questions of lovers and exes around New England in her column “Love Letters”. 10. Nantucket Art & Artisan Preview Party

Since 1991, the Nantucket Art & Artisan show has drawn thousands of visitors as they feature over 40 local and nationally recognized artisans.
