2. Tim Russert Summer Groove

6 P.M. @ Nantucket Boys & Girls Club

Support Nantucket Boys & Girls Club at their biggest fundraiser of the year with a night of food, music, and bidding big. In honor of the late Tim Russert, the 16th annual Summer Groove directly benefits youth development programs on island. 3. River Bennett Performs

When the sun goes down the music turns up at Atlas. Returning from Spain, the talented River Bennett will be spinning a blend of disco, hip hop, and house music for one night only. So throw on your dancing shoes and get ready to groove.




4. Rainbow Fleet and Opera House Cup

This Sunday, Nantucket Community Sailing will celebrate its 45th annual Rainbow Fleet and Opera House Cup with flying colors. As the grand finale of Nantucket Race Week, the Rainbow Fleet Parade will be followed by the Opera House Cup Regatta and the OHC awards party held under tents on Jetties Beach, complete with music, drinks, and food by Spanky’s Raw Bar. 5. Solar Eclipse

9. Trustees Great Point Celebration

The Trustees of Reservations are cooking up the ultimate beach barbecue on Coatue to celebrate the preservation of Nantucket’s ruggedly beautiful northwest peninsula.
