Katie Kaizer was born and raised on Nantucket Island. After attending College in North Carolina she pursued her love of photography while traveling the world and living in many different places. In 2011 she completed the Professional Photography Program at The New England School of Photography and moved back to Nantucket Island to launch her business, Katie Kaizer Photography, specializing in Wedding and Portrait Photographer. Katie’s passion is to highlight the unique and original story of each couple, family and subject that she photographs. During a shoot, whether it’s a wedding, a family session at the beach or photographing people helping others in need, she captures the moments and interactions that connect her subjects together. The work featured here is from her travels around the world from places she holds near and dear to her heart. She loves sharing different cultures through her photography and believes that it’s important to work outside your comfort zone while striving to grow as a person and photographer.
While She is primarily based on Nantucket she has recently traveled to Australia, Ireland and around New England to photograph weddings. Her work has been featured in various publications including Boston Weddings Magazine, Newport Wedding Magazine and online at Style Me Pretty and Huffington Post Weddings.
