2. Boys & Girls Club of Nantucket Grand Opening

After almost a full year of construction, the Boys & Girls Club is up and ready to welcome the youth of Nantucket! Swing by the new building this Saturday, meet the staff, and hear about all the new programs and facilities (including 12 new basketball hoops!)

8. Opening Night Film: Nantucket Film Festival
Wednesday, June 24 || 7:30 P.M. || Nantucket High School
Kick off the 2015 Nantucket Film Festival with this feature film following author David Foster Wallace (Jason Segal) and Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (Jesse Eisenberg) as they embark on an intimate five-day interview at the end of Wallace’s “Infinte Jest” book tour.

Thursday, June 25 || 6:30 P.M. || Dreamland Theatre
National and local actors take the stage for the TV Pilot Reading of “Bob Fisher’s My Roommate.” This is the almost-true-story of 28-year-old writing assistant Spencer Sloan living with his 50-year-old boss, Bob Fisher (Screenwriter of “Wedding Crashers”), in a two-bedroom apartment in Chicago during the filming of the first season of the TV show “Sirens.” This event is sure to get you laughing!
