Lost Child Found in Woods of Boy Scout Camp

A lost child at the Camp Richard Boy Scout area was found by a search party of nearly a dozen Nantucket police officers and firefighters Tuesday evening.

Police established the search after the child was separated from their parents in the woods around the Scout Camp, a vast area of nearly 100 acres. A command post was established and the child was quickly found by first responders and a volunteer searcher. The child was evaluated by the ambulance crew and released to parents.
